MARTIN RAY VINEYARD AND WINERY
마틴레이는 캘리포니아의 전설적인 와인메이커로서 1943년부터 1972년까지 와인을 생상하였지만, 1976년 그의 죽음과 함께 마틴레이라는 브랜드도 흔적을 감추었습니다. 그 후 약 20년이 지난 1990년에 이르러 코드니 벤함(Courtney Benham)이 산호세 낡은 창고에 보물처럼 묻혀있던 마틴레이의 초기 빈티지 와인들 1500케이스를 발견하면서 비로소 세상에 다시 마틴레이의 이름이 알려지기 시작합니다.
At Martin Ray, we’ve handpicked growers from diverse California wine regions and cultivated relationships with them alongside their grapes. Our winemaker begins shaping each wine while it’s still in the vineyard and vinifies each in small lots at our winery in the heart of Sonoma’s Russian River Valley. The result is a collection of award-winning wines with an impressive breadth of terroir.

엔젤라인 와이너리는 마틴레이 와이너리의 오너인 코트니 벤함이 2001년에 설립한 "매일 맛있는 와인을 마시고 싶다!"는 모토를 바탕으로 고급 와인산지인 러시안 리버벨리를 배경으로 설립된 와이너리입니다. 특히 가격대비 퀄리티가 뛰어나 미국 내수시장이 굉장히 강하고 굳이 캘리포니아 외 지역에 판매하기 위해 노력하지 않아도 와이너리 주변 상권을 중심으로 항상 꾸준히 팔리는 인기 와인입니다.
