오레곤 피노누아의 전설로 불리우는 와인메이커인 게리 앤드루스(R. Gary Andrus)에 의해 창립된 와이너리입니다. 게리 앤드루스는 오레곤 피노누아 시장의 100달러 가격대의 고가 와인시대를 연 Archery Summit의 장본인이기도 합니다. 그에 의해 탄생한 듁스 패밀리 엘리사(Dukes Family Vineyards Alyssa)는 오픈하자마자 퍼져나오는 엄청난 수준의 복합미와 완벽한 밸런스를 자랑하는 산미와 미네럴리티, 고급스러운 오크의 풍미와 매끈한 태닌을 자랑합니다. 안타깝게도 2009년 지병으로 돌아가신 게리 앤드루스의 뒤를 이어 현재는 그의 제자이면서 함께 양조를 하였던 Kelly Kidneigh가 단독으로 양조를 진행하고 있습니다. 그는 앤드루스의 꽉찬 구조감을 이어받으면서도 여성 특유의 섬세함을 잘 입히고 있다는 평가를 받고 있습니다.

듁스 패밀리의 피노누아들은 매우 풍성하고 신선한 붉은 과실향의 아로마와 미네랄, 오리엔탈 스파이스의 풍미가 인상적입니다. 약간의 스모키함과 훈연된 파프리카,체리, 콜라의 느낌이 조화를 이루고 있습니다. 듁스 패밀리의 여러 와인들은 어린 빈티지임에도 불구하고 대단한 복합미와 여러 층위의 향을 선사하는 아름다운 와인들입니다.
